Title:  Up the Hill
Description:  The crew has their ponies pulling hard on the Lycon loads as they head out of town. They're about to pass through a rock cut and under Badger road and the Beltline highway. In the distance you can see the junction with the Vita Spur near Olin Avenue. Some of Madison's newer (and pricier) high rise apartments and condos loom in the distance, a stark contrast to my photo location on Badger road.

Description:  The crew is cruising by the countryside at Byrne road in Fitchburg at a decent clip. The rehab done to this line allows 20mph or so track speed at this location. Sadly, my battery died before I could snap a pic of the restored baby-blue chevy at the grade crossing.

Description:  The crew brings their train to the diamond at the old site of Tower MX, a one-time crossing of busy C&NW and MILW lines. The junction still sees regular use - the daily freight between Janesville and Madison takes the connector track, and various local jobs cross the diamond and use the connector tracks to access the branch lines as they go about their duties.
