WSOR 10C
Title:  WSOR 10C
Description:  After a weekend of touring the WSOR system, the business train returns to Madison. In a city of mostly small-time, localized railroading, it feels great to witness vintage equipment in regular operation. Scenes like these are rare, and I'm certainly glad that I got out to fan the WSOR today!

Row, row, row!!!
Title:  Row, row, row!!!
Description:  A women's rowing club heads out of the bay towards Lake Monona for some early evening practice as the Wisconsin and Southern's elegant business train heads back to the yard after a day on the Reedsburg sub. Though not evident in this photo, this classy train certainly was turning heads. The rowing crew stopped just shy of the bridge underneath the tracks to watch the train roll by!

WSOR 10A and 10C on the Wissor Bissor (har har)
Title:  WSOR 10A and 10C on the Wissor Bissor (har har)
Description:  Some well-kept vintage locos usher the Stone Gardner, James M. Gardner, Northern Plains and Northern Pass cars across Monona Bay. Don't let the early evening light fool you- there are dark thunderclouds in every direction save for the direction I'm facing. I'm lucky I got any sun for this shot!

WSOR 10C on a Business Extra
Title:  WSOR 10C on a Business Extra
Description:  WSOR's business train pauses on the fill through Monona Bay, just past the diamond at MX crossing. This line is a former MILW passenger and freight line from Janesville/Milwaukee. The line it crosses in the background is a former CNW freight and passenger main, once part of CNW's Chicago-Twin Cities route. Both lines are now operated by the WSOR.
