WSOR 4003
Title:  WSOR 4003
Description:  A trio of goslings stretches their train over the Rock river in downtown Janesville. I'm not sure what train this is- the crew was performing some switching moves and had to pull their train pretty far out of the yard to clear their last car.

T008
Title:  T008
Description:  The train continues into downtown Madison along Campus drive. The siding track (known as the "Long John") used to be a convenient place to stash coal loads for UW-Madison's Charter Street heater plant. The plant has been converted to natural gas, and now the siding houses the occasional cut of covered hoppers or cement shorties.

Yesterday's T008 crew brought the train here, and today a new crew will be called to bring the train the rest of the way to the yard. They'll have some switching to do at the Middleton Business Park before heading to Madison. Photo taken at 0847.
