IC 3110 on Plymouth Sub |
Description: |
The train winds around the bend in Thiensville. I wish that the shrubs in the foreground weren't there... oh well. |

IC 3110 on Plymouth Sub train |
Description: |
After spotting a couple of tankers just north of Mill Rd, the crew of the daily (weekday) Plymouth sub train eases their consist over a small hill. She may not look it, but the 3110 is pulling pretty hard. At 23 cars (mostly scrap metal loads), I wonder if this unit is a good puller. She seemed to be strugging most of the time that I chased this crew. |

IC 3110 on Plymouth Sub Train |

Here's another shot of today's CN/WC Plymouth Sub train. This crew has always been friendly, never too harsh to forget a friendly wave! It might not seem like a big deal, but little things like that can make my day. |

The train skirts the edge of Meekwon park. The pond is perfect for ice skating, but there won't be any skaters today- the mild weather has made skating unsafe. |

The 3110 pulls for all it is worth on the 23 cars in today's train. The majority of the consist is made up of loaded gons of scrap metal for Charter Steel in Saukville. |

The 3110 and crew creep towards Mequon, WI (and Ozaukee Co). The low light today is a frustrating extension of the low light yesterday, but at least there's a train to shoot today! |

IC 3110 on Plymouth Sub |
Description: |
IC 3110 and crew slowly pace the Ozaukee County Interurban trail on their way north to Saukville. The interurban is so named because it uses the roadbed of the former TMERL. It's nice to have a paved bike path, but it would be even nicer to have an interurban! Of course, the folks of Ozaukee Co. would have to give up their cars first, but that probably won't happen... |

Description: |
Having already spoted some empty boxcars at International Paper on Pioneer Rd, the crew brings the train around one of the few curves on the line and accelerates out of town. The train will soon enter Grafton, but the next stop will be Saukville. |
